This annotated lecture introduces the measurements of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
There is discussion of the behavior of carbon dioxide, including the trend from fossil fuel burning and the take up and release of carbon dioxide by plants. There is also an accounting of release by coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as the reservoirs in the oceans and land.
